SS 410 Sheets & Plates
Grade 410 stainless steel is used in the production of a wide variety of products. One
of the products produced using this grade is the Stainless Steel 410 Plate. They can be
heat treated to obtain a variety of mechanical properties. It displays good hardness and
strength along with resistance to corrosion. It can be formed in annealed conditions as
it is ductile when annealed. In annealed as well as in heat treated conditions these
ASTM A240 type 410 Stainless steel shim remains magnetic. They are also resistant to
atmospheric conditions, water, and chemicals. However, in environments containing weak
or diluted acetic acid, Naptha, or nitric acid these SS 410 Sheets can easily be used.
The acid content in food is also resisted by these plates.
Stainless Steel 410 Rolling Plate has a thickness that ranges from 3mm to 150mm. They offer resistance to rust in air water and certain chemicals. They are economical, versatile, and elastic which offers transmission of fluids from one place to another. DIN 1.4000 Clad Plate is used in cutlery, ore processing, sugar processing, press plates, gate valves, and petroleum refinery. Moreover, they are also used in petrochemical processing equipment.
