SS 347/347H Sheets & Plates

like AISI, ASTM, API, ASME, etc. Stainless steel alloy 347 or UNS S34700 is the
columbium stabilized austenitic stainless steel material. It is having very good
resistance ability against general corrosion and to some extent very good resistance
ability into the strongly oxidizing atmospheres. It is having commendable resistance
ability against intergranular corrosion once got exposed to the temperature into the
chromium carbide precipitation ranging 427-816 deg C. The alloy is having very good
resistance to oxidation and creep strength to temperature 816 deg C. It is also offering
commendable low-temperature hardness. Stainless steel 347H or UNS S34709 is the greater
carbon version of SS 347 alloy, in the proportion of 0.04% to 0.10%. It is developed for
enhancing the creep resistance and for the greater strength at the temperature range of
1000+ deg F. Stainless Steel 347 / 347H Sheet Plate is widely appreciated due to many
good properties. Some properties are high tensile-yielding strength, ability to hold
high temperature and high pressure, anti-corrosive body, general corrosion resistance,
pitting and oxidation resistance, high hardiness, rugged construction, sturdiness, etc.
These UNS S34700 and UNS S34709 sheets and plates are used in many industrial
applications. It is including petrochemicals, pharmaceuticals, specialty chemicals,
chemical industry, pharmaceutical industry, offshore oil drilling industry, pulp & paper
industry, automobiles, constructions, buildings, food and gas processing, etc. These
plates and sheets are very well quality checked to make sure that no poor quality of the
product is delivered to the clients. The tests are intergranular corrosion tests, macro
tests, mechanical strength tests, chemical tests, etc.
